Synthetic Urine

Synthetic urine is one of the most popular methods for taking a drug urine screening when the test subject has THC metabolites in their system. While the use of fake pee to take a drug test can be unnerving, flush drinks often leave the test subject with the anxiety if they will test clean. For any employment drug test, It is recommended that you always use an at-home test product like a dip strip or alternately, you can purchase the same pee cup the test facilities often use. Synthetic urine is difficult to detect because it has similar pH, creatinine, and specific gravity to normal urine. Specific tests are needed to identify compounds that are normal constituents of human urine but not found in synthetic urine, such as cortisol.

What is synthetic urine made out of?

Artificial urine has the very same chemicals as healthy human urine, including specific chemicals like urea, uric acid, ammonia, creatinine, water, phosphates and sulfates. Fake pee also contains the same pH level and specific gravity as humans so that it would pass verification tests for these compounds. Originally, Synthetic urine was invented because real human urine is not appropriate to calibrate drug testing equipment. Every test subject has different urine makeup because of sex, race and other genetic factors.

Detox Reviews: What Works Best?

There is a lot of first-person stories on the internet, but not a lot of actual tests to see what works when preparing for a marijuana urine test.
There was a recent study whereby the volunteers were subjected to various detox methodologies, including goldenseal, herbal flush tea, and a pharmaceutical "water pill" (diuretic). After ingestion, the test subjects consumed 2000ml drinking water. (about two quarts) The results were that in many cases, the subjects pass the screening, but because of the excess fluid ingestion, the creatinine levels also dropped below the point of acceptability by the test method. Some employee applicants will eat large amounts of red meat and other proteins in the days before their test to counter this issue. For most people that know they have toxins in their body, the best and most worry-free choice is to buy synthetic urine for a drug test. If the job applicant follows the instructions regarding heating the artificial pee container, it is virtually fool-proof and is used by millions.

Artificial Urine Recipe

The following is a recipe used by universities and other teaching institutions when they need fake pee for lab experiments. The reason this is being posted is for illustrative and learning purposes only; an employee drug test applicant is risking failure to try and home-brew a solution.

  1. Albumin powder (egg or bovine)
  2. Creatinine Urea
  3. Water; distilled is best for purity
  4. Sodium phosphate (monobasic type)
  5. Potassium chloride
  6. Sodium chloride

  7. The formula will make about to liters of synthetic urine. In a 1 gallon clean container, add 1.5 liters pure distilled water, then add exactly 36 grams of urea, then mix until thoroughly dissolved.
In the next step, you add 9.6 grams of pure sodium chloride, then 9 grams of potassium chloride. Lastly, carefully add 9.6 grams of sodium phosphate. Continue mixing completely until the solution is completely clear.
In the next step, check the pH levels with a pH meter or test strips. Typical human urine is in the range of 5-7, so it's a broad target. If the solution falls out of range, adjust the pH level with either hydrochloric acid (to lower) or sodium hydroxide to raise the pH levels.
The next step is to test for specific gravity: the range is 1.015 to around 1.025. Once you are confirm the specific gravity is correct, the solution may be stored in a refrigerator for many days, and a many months if you freeze it.
The last step before use is to warm the solution to room-temperature, then as a final step, mix in 4 grams of creatine and about 100mg of albumin. This formula has been successfully test by an independent laboratory, even passing the validity testing process which looks for pH, specific gravity, and other qualities. When they lab technician checks for the creatinine level, they use a colorimetry process.
